Services
Assessment Used is the WIAT-4 (Wechsler Individual Achievement Test). Administered Achievement Test for Children, Adolescents, and Adults. The WIAT-4 measures various aspects of academic achievement which includes:
- Mathematics: measures numerical operations, math problem solving, and math fluency
- Oral Language: Measures receptive and expressive vocabulary, phonemic proficiency, listening comprehension, and oral expression.
- Reading: Measures word reading, pseudoword decoding, reading comprehension, and oral fluency
- Written Language: Measures, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, sentence combining and essay composition.
Dyslexia Screening is provided thru the WIAT-4
Private Testing (starting at $300.00) –
For parents who are interested in getting their child evaluated (outside of the school setting) to determine if there is a need for future special education services with their current school and administration.
How it works: Parent can contact Special Education Evaluation Specialist to schedule an online video consultation. After consultation a testing time will be scheduled, after the test parents will be contacted to schedule a time to review the evaluation. The evaluator will go over the prepared report that will be given to the parents for their records and use.
Coordinated School Assessment –
This Independent Educational Evaluator (Academic Assessments) will offer services throughout the local counties and areas in the state of Georgia. Working with a wide range of educational institutions, including charter schools, public schools, and private schools. Many children with academic challenges benefit from these evaluations because they help determine the right support and resources for each student. These evaluations assist in identifying learning disabilities, attention issues, developmental delays, and other challenges that may affect a child’s ability to succeed in school.
